Job descriptionAre you looking for an opportunity to work in HR in a multicultural work environment supporting the business to grow?Do you feel comfortable with multiple topics and tasks on your desk simultaneously?If you answered yes you just might be our new team mate at Nordex Nordic. I'm Suvi, the People & Culture Manager for Nordex in Finland, Sweden and the Baltic countries and I'm now looking for a positive and proactive P&C Specialist to support me and our organisation in Sweden.Your P&C team will include me and another P&C Specialist in Finland and a bunch of other colleagues in our Hamburg HQ supporting you on various topics. At our Uppsala office you will be working with about 25 brilliant professionals from sales, service, finance and other functions who are all working together to sell, deliver and service wind energy projects in the Nordics. Across Sweden you also have an additional 20 or so colleagues who work in service keeping the wind turbines in good shape producing green electricity for the society. The most important tasks and responsibilities for you in this role would include:Coordinating the payroll process in co-operation with our payroll providerAll employee life cycle matters such as employment contracts, leave of absences etc.Responsibility for the recruitment process for Blue Collar employees in Sweden and supporting if need be in other recruitmentsBeing the first point of contact on P&C topics for the employees in the organisationContributing to internal communication and developing it further in co-operation with other members of the organisationWork time management tool main user responsibility and work time reportingProviding P&C induction to new employeesManaging mobility topics such as work permits and posted worker registrationsDeveloping and updating company policies with the support from P&C colleaguesManaging the personnel data archivesSupporting the P&C Manager in various other topics when requestedSubstituting the colleague in Finland on critical topics during vacations Job requirementsOur philosophy in P&C is that we are there for our people as well as the business, supporting and contributing to the success of the company. To do this it is important that you have strong interpersonal skills and that you proactively seek ways to develop our current processes and practices so that we can be even better in the future. As you already know as an experienced HR person, there are also bound to be difficult situations and tight deadlines ahead that you would need to handle in an effective yet sustainable manner. I would hope that you approach tough situations with an open mind and a solution driven communication style while also being able to stay firm where need be. To be successful in this position you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English. Other languages such as German are considered a plus.You should feel confident in working independently with Swedish labour topics, such as CBAs, labour laws and payroll so that you can also give guidance to the employees and managers on questions in this area.Education wise a relevant Bachelor's degree or higher will be expected as well as about 5 years of prior work experience, most of it preferably within HR.Prior experience in payroll is considered a must and strong experience is considered a benefit Other infoThis position is based at our Uppsala office and is considered full time and for an unlimited period.
