In Purchasing Development, our assignment goes hand in hand with the IKEA Business Idea, created 75 years ago, as we are responsible to produce the wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them. Affordability, accessibility, sustainability and quality are our main priorities. We develop and execute sourcing strategies and thus meet the supply markets/industries in 6 different categories. We are a true global organization with 1300 co-workers placed in 27 different locations, close to the suppliers and the market. The business development teams work close together with both suppliers and Product Development.
Job Description
As a People & Culture Project Leader for Purchasing Development (PD) you will play an important role in developing business and people together and securing that we have the right competence in the right place today and tomorrow. You will work close together with People and Culture (P&C) Manager for Purchasing Development and you will together lead the global P&C agenda for the total organization. You will lead the development, adaptation and implementation of P&C processes and projects across PD in order to contribute to excellent sustainable business performance. You will be part of PD Extended management team as well as PD P&C matrix and you will report to P&C Manager for PD.
Furthermore, you will: Lead the implementation of P&C processes and together with P&C Mgr, identify better ways of working across PD, taking advantage of synergies as well as utilizing the gathered competence to achieve best result.
Lead the work, from creation to the execution, of the P&C common global project portfolio across PD. Be overall responsible for the Talent development process (including recruitment and employer branding) and Competence development process within PD. Aggregate the competence development needs across PD from the different CAs and lead the work to address the competence implications together with matrices and Competence Development Area leaders. Be responsible for competence development portfolio management for PD and together with CDALs secure the execution of relevant, up to date and innovative learning solutions that are available and communicated to the many people within PD.
Work in close collaboration with main stakeholders; P&C leaders PD, P&C Managers and Generalists in PLA, to secure implementation and seamless P&C experience within the fields of responsibility.
