YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You have a master's in electrical engineering, computer technology or engineering physics ' or similar. Perhaps you've recently graduated or already have a couple of years' experience in patent work, development and/or legal work. You're the kind of person who's eager to learn. You're inquisitive and know how to keep a lot of irons in the fire. You have good interpersonal skills. And you're fluent in English and Swedish.

THE IPR UNIT
The Axis center of competence for intellectual property rights (IPR) covers matters such as patents, design patents, licenses and trademarks. We also handle coordination of IPR activities, mainly within development projects.
Our main activities include reviewing and pursuing patent ideas, as well as assisting in technology searches. Our main collaboration groups are inventors within the R & D organization, product management, marketing and external patent counsels. The outcome of our work is patents.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Patent registration processes may be seen as long-term project requiring good coordination, a meticulous approach, good presentation skills and an interest in learning about new technology.
You'll be reporting directly to our IPR manager. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Interacting with inventors
• Interacting with firms, internally and externally
• Pursuing an invention to patent application
• Prosecuting the patent application
• Studying new technology
• Searching database
• Reviewing legal considerations
