hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Packaging Engineer to join our passionate team in Stockholm.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The Packaging Engineer will be responsible for overall packaging requirements and design specifications for Northvolt's advanced factories and warehouses.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design packaging solutions for finished products
Design packaging solutions for internal use in production
Managing and coordination of projects, timelines and track progress on projects focusing on packaging solutions
Being main point of contact with packaging suppliers
Leading continuous packaging improvements as well as leading packaging change projects
Defining and contributing to packaging Blueprint areas, where Blueprint is referring to a lean, standardized and a flexible enough solution for a designated factory block to easily be adopted and scaled

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
Master of Science in Mechanical or Industrial engineering or equivalent
Experience from working in a multi-cultural environment
Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
Having experience of working in clean production
Relevant packaging design experience in industrial environments
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral skills
CAD
Knowledge of automation
Having knowledge of dangerous goods packaging is a plus
Highly execution-oriented
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines
Highly organized and result-driven
