Description

Carton Value & Economy leads the development of packages and equipment belonging to this portfolio.
Primary Packaging team within Carton Value & Economy is now looking for a Package Engineer that will work with package development and will be based in Lund.
Main Responsibilities
• Member of projects core or extended team, translating requirements to sub-system requirements and technical specifications for area of competence
• Support the translation of requirements into package design
• Define V&V strategy related to package area for Product Development, Technology Development or Major Product Life Cycle projects and execute it.
• Write test specifications, analyze and document results using reports
• Coordinate & know how to execute all package activities according to existing procedures, standards and methods, in partnership with suppliers, specialists and consultancies.
• Drive root cause investigations on package performance and functionality
• Drive risk assessment for package
Develop & Implement new procedures, test & validation methods according to requirements.
Qualifications
Past experience in the product development process in the package area is highly appreciated, as well as experience in technical test methodologies in the area of primary and secondary packaging. Knowledge of Packaging Material is considered a plus.
Well acquainted and self-sufficient in Physical Testing.
Knowledge in Requirement Management procedure.
You are a person with analytical skills, clear in communication, that can manage complexity and ambiguity. You are a team player that, at the same time, is expected to take on own initiatives and activities.
You have an academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent title.
You have good communication skills, both verbal and written English.
