The function Outbound Logistics covers the planning and operational responsibility for the transportation of finished vehicles Logistics, including transport related activities (e.g. event and special transport), and ensures the transport of finished vehicles to their required destinations. The Outbound Logistics scope starts at the factory, at the moment of Factory Complete to the designated distribution point according to the market set-up (e.g. Dealer, port, importer stock).
We are now looking for a new OBL business IT expert, to our Operational Team, who wants to work in an international and fast developing area as a connection point between the global distribution organisations and our IT departments.
What you'll do
The right candidate always strives to find the best solutions from a global perspective in cooperation with our regional teams. To provide direction, development and leadership to the project teams is your main goal.
You will be responsible for implementation of new projects, routes and transport methods and act as an expert within the OBL IT systems. You will develop and maintain OBL IT systems towards the global operational needs as well as assure functional understanding of the applications and linked business needs. Other tasks are to initiate, plan, prioritize and coordinate activities within the OBL as well as to define and maintain processes and standard operating procedures, in line with the overall strategy for Outbound Logistics.
You and your skills
The right person has a university degree or equivalent experience and broad experience within IT systems. Leadership skills and documented project leadership experience is also wanted.

We are looking for a candidate who is operational with a flow driven mind set and a high level understanding of logistics processes and requirements. You are able to prioritise in high demanding areas and have the ability to develop and maintain cross-functional and global networks with your high communication and cooperative skills.
We think you have a strong willingness to drive for lean and flow oriented solutions and the ability to drive towards decisions and prioritize.
You are fluent in English (written/spoken) and preferably also fluent in the Swedish language.
