We are looking for a driven and quality-conscious laboratory engineer. You will come to a company with short decision paths where you will have the opportunity to influence the group's and the company's development.
What are you going to do
As a laboratory engineer, you will work laboratory-wise to produce the company's products as well as with application tests. You will report directly to the company's management. We will work together towards common goals in order to offer customers a wide range of products and services.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Production and function control of the company's magnetic particles
2. Coupling affinity ligands to magnetic particles
3. Process and method development
4. Application tests
Who you are
1. Have academic degree in organic chemistry or relevant chemistry.
2. Merit with experience in bioseparation (bioprocessing) and protein chemistry.
3. Have practical experience of synthesis work, chromatography, ELISA and SDS-PAGE.
4. Is thorough, optimistic, independent and committed.
5. Can demonstrate relevant practical experience from previous employments, projects or degree projects.
6. Master English and Swedish in speech and writing.
Furthermore, we value whether you have experience or knowledge of GMP, GLP and SOP quality systems in the lab. It is also a merit if you have experience of affinity separations with other magnetic particles such as Dynabeads® and Miltenyi MAGS.

We develop, produce and sell magnetic particles and associated separation systems for the purification of biomolecules (such as monoclonal antibodies) and cells for the Life Science industry. The company is a start-up biotech tools company with rotes from Uppsala and Stockholm Universities in the areas of organic chemistry, materials chemistry and magnetism. We conduct advanced world-leading research in collaboration with Swedish universities and companies within the competence centers Advanced BioProduction by Continuous Processing (AdBIOPRO), Center for Advanced Medical Products (CAMP) and Individualized pluripotent stem cell-based therapy (IndiCell). Our patented technology can become essential to produce human stem cells for the future of cell therapy.
