hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Strängnäsanläggningen i Strängnäs The Strängnäs Site in Sweden is a Biologicals drug substance site currently employing approximately 230 people. It is located about 50 miles west of Stockholm on the shores of Lake Mälaren.
• The site currently produces Genotropin, Fragmin and we are now adding Somavert protein manufacture.
• In 2006 a decision was taken to invest $190 million in a new strategic multi product biotech facility.
• Process validation work in the new Multipurpose facility will be completed in 2010, with commercial production starting later the same year.
The role will be reporting to the Site Leader and be accountable for a handful of cross-functional process leaders (number to be decided).
Main areas of responsibility:
• Serve as a key member of the Strängnäs Site Leadership Team providing effective and responsive Business support to operations while ensuring superior performance in all aspects of the business.
• Champion a culture where colleagues feel valued and developed by creating open and trusting working relationships in a cross functional environment. Develop strategies which maximize colleague engagement and diversity.
• Develop an efficient, effective, and flexible team based organizational approach for the site, utilizing Lean thinking principles, during the start-up phase of the new multipurpose facility Bio 7 and in conjunction with other functions. Continue to maintain and develop a culture that secures a high ownership and the right quality of our products.
• Support end to end business processes to strengthen cross-functional work, customer and product focus and efficient and high performance site activities.
• Develop and sustain an environment of continuous improvement through active implementation of the Global Reliability Program, Right First Time principles and Lean manufacturing methods.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for capital, resources and key business performance indicators. Maintain effective systems for cost control.
• Participate in all relevant Pfizer activities within the area of responsibility and develop and maintain relationships with Ops MMT and OpEx management in other Pfizer manufacturing sites.
• Report metrics associated with the site processes to internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge or Experience Required:
• Master of Science degree or equivalent in Science is required.
• Relevant experience in a leadership capacity in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a biologics manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Proficiency in Swedish preferred
• Demonstrated Leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and to interact successfully across divisional boundaries.
• Shown results in effectively managing cross-functional work streams
• Experience of using and implementing RFT and Lean principles
• Strong understanding of Business development and supporting business processes
