On behalf of our client, we are looking for a person who is skilled in Adobe Illustrator. Our client is a global company within retail and the office is based in Malmö. The duration of the assignment is approximately 5 months and starts ASAP.
Assignment:
You will be part of the Packaging Design Production, a team of highly experienced graphic designers and packaging engineers, who are keen on sharing their knowledge within the area.
Based on detailed instructions, your assignment will be to update the many packaging artworks for the Swedish Food Market product range, to make them comply with legislation in different regions of the world. The nature of the artwork updates can vary a lot, and range from replacing text content, move graphical elements, to adjusting typography, in other words; the assignment needs more emphasis on detail than on creativity.
Capabilities:
For this assignment, we are looking for a candidate with excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator and a keen eye for detail, who strives for high-quality deliveries, but always with cost-consciousness in mind. On-time deliveries are vital, and the person needs to have excellent time management skills, and the ability to plan and organize own work. Education and/or work experience in print production, pre-press, repro or similar is a plus.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is service-minded, able to work independently and used to taking own initiatives. In a fast-paced work environment, social skills are required, and as well as an open mind to receiving advice and feedback in order to learn and develop.
Finally yet importantly, candidates need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The person will report to the Packaging Design Production Manager, and will work closely with other graphic designers in the Packaging Design Production team, as well as with the Product Quality team and the Laws & Standards team.
