CooperVision Nordic AB is a company within the CooperVision corporate group. We are about 30 people and the commercial headquarters for the nordic countries is in Göteborg.

CooperVision Nordic is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to develop, organize and lead the Nordic team of sales representatives .

As Sales Manager you are responsible for leading the sales team of 9 people in the four countries. Previous management experience of leading sales teams is a must. As the Nordic Sales Manager you are part of the management team for CooperVision Nordic and you will report to the Commercial Director Benelux & Nordic region.

Key Responsibilities:

v  Responsible for the performance of the sales team, i.e. set sales targets for the individual sales people and the team as a whole and ensuring that everyone within the team reaches and exceeds their targets.

v  Responsible for setting the sales strategy and the sales budget for all four countries.

v  Organize training and workshops for the sales staff to develop their individual skillsets.

v  Compiling and analyzing sales figures

v  Keeping up to date with products and competitors and identify new trends in the market.

v  Work closely with the Nordic Marketing team in order to get and implement tools for marketing of CooperVision in the Nordic region.

v  Maintain and build business relations with some national accounts head offices. 

In order to be successful in this position you need to be an action-oriented and driven person. You need to be able to work autonomously and at the same time we want you to be a good team-player and a good manager to your team. You are a good communicator and have good people skills. You are creative with excellent planning and organisational skills. You need to have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. Travelling with the sales reps is part of your job and you have to be willing to travel around 70-90 days per year.

Your Profile:

v  At least 3-5 years documented work experience as Sales Manager leading a sales team

v  Have the ability to motivate and lead a team

v  Good business sense

v  Good IT, budget and report-writing skills

v  Fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English, other Nordic languages is an advantage

v  Industry experience and an understanding of the Nordic area is an advantage

v  International experience is an advantage
