Our client, a major wireless communication company, requires an experienced Engineer to survey, deploy, commission, maintain, repair and support RF Coverage solutions on a global basis.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in RF technologies and Mobile Wireless Systems Hands on experience in installation, configuration of RF equipment, troubleshooting & maintenance Solid understanding and hands-on experience with RF instrumentation and tools Experienced in configuring software based Network Management systems Knowledge in Mobile Wireless Communications GSM-R/GSM/UMTS/Tetra Knowledge of RF Repeaters Systems would be advantageous Good computer skills in word, excel, power point Experience in working and travelling overseas.
Responsibilities:
Commissioning and optimisation of Repeater RF Coverage Solutions on a global basis Deployment of In Building RF Coverage solutions Troubleshooting of HW and SW in RF Repeaters on site, including fibre optic installations Perform surveys and RF measurements on site Working on RF in Road and Rail Tunnel Environment Write reports/ document all work Provide support to our customers on telephone support desk (rota) and by email.
Maintain good relationship with customers.
Extensive overseas travel may be required
