Do you enjoy working with the latest telecom technologies? The Network and Storage Lab Operations unit in Lund is now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Engineer. In your job role as Network Design and Operation ICT Engineer you will be part of a global team that provides technical support to internal and external customers related to operation and new build of telecom labs. You will ensure a stable lab network environment and optimize the solutions/services to agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner.
Who Are You?
You are service minded, structured and a team player. You have relevant experience within design and operation of network infrastructures, ad it is a merit if you have experience in IT, Linux, Windows, Cloud and/or Automation. Most likely you have relevant education in the network field with certificates.
Your key competences include:
• Based on standardized services and architecture plan and build NW infrastructure for Lund
• Configure and operate Network equipment such as Switching/Routing (Juniper EX switches, SRX Firewall, QFXs HP, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, GRE, Juniper Space, Infoblox, Pulse Secure VPN)
• Connect and configure Management Infrastructure
Responsibilities
• You work in a Global Network Management team that which also deliver Network Services to the local site.
• You will maintain the lab network and storage environment and operate the lab in a sustainable and cost-effective way by proactive work and contribute to continuous improvements in both Ericsson labs and organizations.
• You will plan and design Lund lab networks in close cooperation with lab stakeholders, Lab Operations. team and the Global Network Management team.
• Secure high-quality operation of Lund lab network infrastructure function and configuration.
• Secure high-quality documentation of lab network configuration items mainly via Ericsson 's Configuration Data Management tool called Hydra.
• Work with Ericsson lab network technologies and secure related support agreements are up to date.
Key Qualifications
Education: BSc or MSc
Minimum years of experience: 5 years of relevant experience
Domain experience
Network and Storage
Some cloud competence along with knowledge of IP Networks is beneficial
IT Processes, tools and infrastructure knowledge (ITIL)
