hela Sverige We are looking for experts on Terminal OS Architecture domain to work on the future Mobile OS for mobile devices and other terminal device operating systems technology & architecture, requirements, migration possibilities and implementation guidance.
Topics of interest include:
• Linux and real time operating systems for terminal devices.
• Android, MeeGo and others.
• Mobile browsing (WebKit), Java VM and other relevant technologies.
• User Interface and User Experience.
• Application Programming Interfaces & Software Development Kits. - Hardware adaptation techniques.
• Virtualization techniques for terminal devices.
Within the scope of your areas of expertise and responsibility you will:
• In collaboration with R&D, architect highly modular, configurable terminal operating system for various use cases.
• Collaborate with solution sales, marketing and R&D on solution blueprints and design & development of required solution features.
• Steer and coordinate related R&D activities with R&D.
• Perform business analysis and technical risk evaluation of proposed designs/solutions.
• Present the proposed solution to R&D decision makers.
• Communicate with customers and present customer feedback to corresponding stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to relevant industry fora, standardization activities and file IPRs.
• Perform business and technical planning.
• Identify the critical technology trends.
Competence Requirements:
• Master or higher degree in computer science, software architectures and/or communications.
• Minimum of 10 years working experience in telecom equipment vendors, mobile terminal vendors, IT vendors, carriers, research bodies or universities, with over 5 years of design or research experience in the subject.
• Familiar with mobile device and terminal platforms.
• Familiar with Telco and Internet services.
• Good knowledge of 3GPP LTE EPC, HSPA, UMTS, WiFi systems as well as fixed access systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team-work spirit and independent working capability.
• Hands-on and can-do attitude.
• The influence of the open source community is nice to have.
