• Manage strategic permitting for the operations within Sweden and Denmark to assure the legal and social license to operate
• Manage environmental and sustainability compliance and risks
• Manage legacy and continuing access to land
• Stakeholder engagement and reputation; proactively engage with stakeholders at different levels
• Be the Manager/Coordinator of colleagues within the Sustainability function in Finland and Norway
We currently have a vacancy for a Sustainability Manager for our Swedish and Danish entities. The position will be based in Mölndal or can also be in our site in Baskarp, Jönköping.
As Sustainability Manager you support Sibelco in delivering leading Sustainability and Environmental performance by balancing short and long term priorities to drive enduring value to our stakeholders and business.
You will be the internal expert and project leader of permits, compliance and risk management within the environmental field and our representative when interacting with authorities, land neighbours and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years work experience in sustainability/environmental management or similar field.
• University degree or equal through experience
• Knowledge of environment & sustainability laws concerning water, air emission, land use and biodiversity
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and demonstrated experience working with governments/authorities, regulators.
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes through consultation, collaboration and a high standard of communication skills.
• Verbal and written competency in English and Swedish. Danish can be advantageous.
