As you can imagine, keeping track of over 1 000 000 connected customer assets rolling around the world is indeed a challenge. Now ponder, that vehicles in a few years will be autonomous - and you've got the challenge of your life. Our Technology team manages the development and maintenance of our global connectivity platform - and your experience is needed. Connectivity is a key enabler for fleet management, uptime services and advanced vehicle services like driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs as well as increased revenues for our customers.

The role
Develop new software applications according to our standards and software development best practices
Deploy, operate, troubleshoot and maintain our applications incl. driving continuous improvement of the same for better quality, functionality, cost effectiveness, etc.
Actively contribute to the solution design of new services
And finally, but not the least, continuously reflect upon how we are doing things and where we can improve
Your profile
We are looking for Java Developers with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, excellent analytical skills, great at problem-solving, passionate about technology and ones who loves developing software applications! In this team we are curious about everything at work and have a "can do" attitude solving our challenges together, making sure to complete each sprint as planned. We would like our new colleagues to have this same curiosity, drive and being a team player.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we expect this profile:
A university degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar
At least three years of working experience as Application Developer using Java 8 (or later), Spring framework and micro services as Springboot applications
Proven experience in asynchronous programming, JMS, Amazon cloud services and test automation frameworks
Coding best practices (like DRY etc) are part of your mindset
Experience in IT security incl PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) is a great plus, so are skills in React, ELK/Kibana and Grafana
Fluent in English - both written and spoken. Preferably Swedish on at least B1 level
Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen

Our main hub and headquarter is in Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg, a vibrant area that lives and breathes new technology like IoT, autonomous driving, electro mobility and digitalization. At the moment, we are working remotely. After Covid-19 we plan a flexible approach where co-workers may combine work on-site and remote. Each manager, together with the team, decide the best setup for the team in regards of meetings and need to meet face-to-face (F2F) and possible other mandatory meetings in the office.
