Besides providing women with a life-changing tool to monitor their fertility, the application is also a unique research platform yielding exciting new clinical data on a regular basis.
We are looking for an experienced Medical Writer with excellent verbal and written communication skills to create accurate and engaging scientific materials for both consumers and medical professionals. It is a unique opportunity to work in a start-up environment. The medical writer will be based at the Head Office of Natural Cycles in central Stockholm.
What you will be doing
Work closely with the medical affairs lead and data scientists to draft scientific abstracts and manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed medical journals
Participate in congresses, symposia and advisory boards where necessary.
Work with the marketing teams to create educational materials for consumers and healthcare professionals, communicating science in creative ways.
Support the medical affairs lead in maintaining the highest possible scientific standards in key regulatory documents
Act as medical copywriter where required
What skills and experiences you should have
Degree qualification (Life Sciences), preferably PhD or MSc
Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical writer in a medical communications agency or other healthcare environment.
Proactive personality, enthusiastic about working in a start-up environment
Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills
High level of organisation and time-management.
English native speaker
Experience as a medical writer in women's health
Extensive medical writing experience within a medical communications agency working to tight deadlines
Proven track record in writing medical manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals
