About the job
We offer an interesting job opportunity within Business Unit Brazed & Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers for you that enjoys working with Key Customers in the global market.
As Mechanical Engineer for Alfa Laval Integrated Cooling Systems (ALICS), you will be part of the continued development and maintenance of products and new technology development. You will also provide technical advice to customers and central teams on products and applications.
You will work closely with our ALICS team leader and Senior Mechanical Engineer, with Design, Product and Application tasks, e.g.:
* Together with Key account managers interact with customers and manage projects, information exchange and technical support
* Start of supply of a new product and improvements/upgrades of existing products.
* Product design and documentation using CAD and PDM systems, based on customer application.
* Product quality such as claims coordination and claim investigations in relation to product design and application
You will be based in Lund and be part of the global R&D organization. The position may require some travelling.
What you know
You have a development engineer background. Your education is at least Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and we expect that you have a few years relevant experience with preferably insight to OEM business. The work requires that you communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
