Description

Do you get energy from working with the development of machines and have a strong focus on design?

In this position you will have the opportunity to work with technical challenges in a creative work environment to develop Tetra Pak's future Packaging Systems.

You will belong to the Carton Bottle & Gable Top organisation. We are responsible for the development of Tetra Pak's product portfolio targeting competitive alternatives for customers requesting additional functionality compared to traditional packages. As a Mechanical Designer you will be working with the product development of our filling machine equipment, primarily in the area of injection moulding, adding new functionality, improving existing solutions or completely new systems. You will work in a mechatronic environment and with engineers that are among the best in the world in respective areas.

Main responsibilities

• Design and verification of sub-systems, mainly in the area of injection moulding, and components meeting agreed requirements
• Defining simulations and analysis in Creo and other relevant tools
• Secure design quality
• Involvement and drive of tests and simulations

Qualifications

To be successful in this position we believe that you have a Bachelor of Science or higher in Mechanical Engineering. We are looking for a candidate that have the proven ability to propose and describe new advanced designs. You have experience from working with mechanical design and/or practical experience of injection moulding technology, preferrably also in development activities. You have understanding in simulations/virtual development and manufacturing techniques. Experience in filling machines and robust design methodology is meriting. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

As a person you have strong analytical skills and a personal drive with the ability to meet set targets. It is important that you have a creative mind with a strong interest of continuously improvements, technical challenges and innovative solutions. Your are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.
