hela Sverige Driveline Systems at Volvo CE is the core center within Volvo CE for Driveline development and are responsible for developing transmissions, brakes and wheel axles for Volvo CE.
We are now looking for several Mechanical Design Engineers to strengthen our Mechanical Design Department, experience from Driveline Development is positive.
Recruitment will be done continuously.
You will be working in a highly focused and motivated team, working with mechanical design and product maintenance within driveline components.
Your responsibilities as a design engineer will be to develop 3D-modells and production drawings in close cooperation with production, purchasing and sub suppliers. You will also be responsible to assure that our quality targets both functional and robustness & reliability are met in cooperation with the Verification & Validation department.
Qualifications:
M.Sc or B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design work (CAD and PDM)
Driveline Design experience is positive
Experience of 3D CAD design and development in Catia v5 and Solid Edge is positive
Personal Qualifications:
Good communication and documentation skills
Target and result oriented
High level of integrity and quality mindset
Ability to work and perform in cross-functional project teams, both inside and outside the company
Self going and be able to take initiative
Good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Interest in machines and especially drivelines are positive
