Your mission
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will contribute to the development of material handling machines. Your work will focus on mechanical design in either machine infrastructure and component integration, or Cabin Design and operator experience.
Both roles are outward-facing and involves collaboration with both internal and external partners. You will work on a variety of projects, from foundational developments to new initiatives, and your responsibilities will include requirements specification, design, testing and documentation.
In the Design Engineering role, you will work with product development, product modifications, and customer specific designs. The role includes working with fatigue-affected structures, where knowledge of mechanics, strength calculations, welded constructions, and cast parts in various materials is essential.
In the Cabin Designer role, you will work with the complete operator environment, including mechanical design, operator comfort, ergonomics and adherence to standards. Your work will emphasize continuous improvements in user interface (HMI and GUI), among other topics, ensuring an optimal operator experience.
Your profile
To thrive in this role, you are a committed and communicative team player. We believe that you have a proactive and systematical approach and likes taking full responsibility for your work, as well as taking new initiatives for improvements.
For this role we require that you have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent knowledge through experience), along with experience in engineering and designing in modern CAD systems, we are using Creo. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
For the Design Engineering role, calculation skills and proficiency in Ansys, is advantageous.
For the Cabin Designer role, experience in cab design for off-road construction vehicles, is advantageous.
Whether you bring deep expertise in CAD design or a broad range of mechanical engineering skills, your contributions will be key to ensuring the highest standards of operator experience and product quality. Welcome with your application!
