As part of our ongoing digital transformation, we are expanding our IS/IT team of nine people and are now looking for a dedicated Master Data Specialist to join us. This is a newly established role that offers the opportunity to be part of shaping its purpose and direction. The position reports to the IS/IT Manager and is based in Malmö, with some international travel required.
The Role As our first Master Data Specialist, you will take the lead in developing TePe's master data strategy and help build a structured and future ready approach to data management across the organization. You will work closely with global stakeholders to ensure high data quality, consistency, and governance across key areas such as customer, product, supplier, and financial data.
You will be responsible for establishing and improving master data processes and standards, while encouraging data ownership and accountability across the business. You will also facilitate workshops, deliver training, and provide support to teams in their day-to-day work with master data.

Your work will help ensure that the right data is available at the right time to support business operations and future digital initiatives, including a possible transition to a new global ERP.
Responsibilities
Own and lead the development and implementation of master data strategies across the TePe Group
Establish and maintain processes, standards, and routines to ensure high data quality and consistency
Define and promote clear roles and responsibilities for data ownership throughout the organization
Work with stakeholders to align data structures and needs with operational processes
Provide day-to-day support and guidance on master data topics
Facilitate workshops and lead training initiatives to enhance data literacy and engagement
Drive cultural change by promoting data quality and ownership across the organization
Support the business in adapting to new ways of working with data
Ensure master data is effectively integrated into BI, reporting, and digital tools
Prepare the organization for future ERP transformation by ensuring master data is accurate and well-structured
Continuously evaluate and improve master data processes and documentation
Who You Are You are a structured and curious professional with a strong interest in data and how it supports the business. You enjoy working across functions and cultures, and thrive in environments that value collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement. You are confident leading initiatives and are motivated by the opportunity to shape your role from the ground up.
Minimum Requirements
Three to five years of experience in a similar role within master data or data governance
Experience in establishing processes and new ways of working
Strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience leading workshops and training sessions
Hands-on experience working with ERP systems and BI tools
Understanding of data architecture, integrations, and data quality frameworks
Experience working in a global environment
Fluent in Swedish and English
Preferred Requirements
Experience with ERP implementation or data migration projects
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms
