The challenge ahead
As a Marketing Manager, you'll drive projects that will shape the future of Battlefield, both in player experience, in-game and around-game. You'll join a team of fellow gamers that's breaking boundaries and blurring global borders by marrying high-level marketing and brand strategies with a genuine understanding of what excites players. Your data-driven and player-driven style will help you define the optimal strategies and experiences, and your collaborative, global mindset will help build partnerships with game teams, publishing and NA-based marketing teams.
What a Marketing Manager does at EA
Supports the Live Service Marketing Director and the development teams in the design of digital business models for Battlefield, leading market research, competitor intelligence, and using relevant data from DICE and across EA, to define consumer experiences.
Connects the Live Services features and experience with our business models, and with the end-to-end player experience. Represents the gamer through the process of defining and creating new digital experiences and business models, with a particular focus on player experience, player value and accessibility.
Supports the Live Service Marketing Director to build a marketing strategy and tactics to accelerate Battlefield's digital transition.
Supports global marketing programs that engage players around the world
Creates strategies in partnership with the development team and marketing teams that will connect players to what they love, surprise and delight them.
Uses KPIs to help us hand-craft marketing solutions that smash player's expectations
Defines and implements acquisition and engagement strategies into our digital funnels.
Requirements
Passion for videogames, preferrably Battlefield and/or other FPS games.
4+ years of experience in product marketing and gaming is a big plus. B.A. or equivalent required.
Proven expertise working with online services
Proven expertise in e-commerce
Proven experience working with international partners
Passion for analysing product offerings, customers and market dynamics and assess and create competitive analyses, opportunities and market segmentation.
Proven project management skills, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive (and enjoy) working in a fast-paced environment.
Work well in a collaborative, team environment.
Ability to work alongside and present to senior management
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. Basic layout and image editing is a plus.
