Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Manager for the Project Management Team in Power Transformers. You will interact with all parts of the organization and customers and play a central role in supporting, guiding and coaching the team to ensure successful delivery of high-impact transformer and reactor projects.
Your role as a leader will be to inspire, develop and support your team to develop and perform with psychological safety as a backbone. You will report directly to the Head of Project Management.
The Power Transformers unit in Ludvika is one of Hitachi Energy's largest transformer factories where we engineer, design and manufacture a comprehensive portfolio that includes large power transformers, variable and fixed shunt reactors for the global market.

How you'll make an impact
Lead and strengthen the team: The Project Management team manages the customer delivery projects from handover from sales until the warranty period expires, with the overall responsibility for business/contractual fulfillment - legal, financial and technical.
Advocate for collaboration: You foster open and inclusive communication within the team, across the organization, and with our customers. You serve as a strong role model for inclusive leadership.
Drive excellence: You set clear goals, challenge working methods, and encourage continuous improvement and innovative thinking.
The customer's voice: You are the voice of the customer into the organization and facilitate customer communication through the process. You work across multiple teams, coordinating strategic priorities and making sure that leadership has the necessary insights for decision-making.
Strategic influence: You own the execution of the functional strategy and the operational direction for the department.
Your background
Bachelor 's or Master of Science degree, or from a related field.
A leader with strong interest in people
Proven experience of translating strategy into actions
Ability to identify risks and take mitigating actions
A business mindset - understanding the link between operational and financial performance.
Excellent skills in both English and Swedish, verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project statuses to stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge and experience in large delivery projects is meritorious.
Hitachi Energy Senior Project Manager certification (or other relevant Project Manager certification) is a plus
