Your main role will be to lead a team of Supplier Managers in the line organisation. Develop the competences in the team to fit Tetra Pak's future needs and implement the agreed strategies for specific categories.
In this role, you will be reporting to the Director Supplier Management OEM. You will work across the company, requiring close collaboration with all involved organisations from Development & Engineering, Processing, Clusters & Product Management to Services.
Main responsibilities
• Drive and take active part in important negotiations with suppliers, develop supplier relations to maximise the output from the suppliers beyond delivery and quality.
• Drive capability development in your team (people, process, tools).
• Actively coach and develop your team members to understand and adapt to new and tougher demands on performance, drive and ownership.
• Drive development of how we work as a professional Supplier Management organisation.
• Drive, deliver and follow up on the KPI's agreed.
• Manage the budget for the team
Qualifications
You have a strong strategic mindset and good understanding of the businesses we serve.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, to create commitment across all involved functions.
You are result oriented, driven and have an ability based on your strong business focus, to keep a holistic view but have an understanding of the importance of details. You should have a strong continuous improvement mindset and drive.
To be successful in this position you need to have a strong personal drive and be used to take on your own initiatives and work pro-actively to create results. A most suitable candidate has both a strong customer centric business mindset as well as the capability to understand technology and production. You have a university master degree and a proven track record in supplier management and proven experience from leading others as people manager.
