Position
We search for a person who is intersted in being part of a high performing organization. Within the Volvo Group we have a production system in focus, supplying all our curstomers with transmission solutions covering all segments and markets. You are comfortable in a role where you have to deal with complex challenges and to make decisions with a direct impact to our global business.
As a Manager of Order and Volume Planning you will be a part of Köpings Supplychain organization. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Director. You will also be a part of a global extended management team within Volvo Powertrain Production, where you will report to the function and to the Director of Production Control, Progam & Order.
Key responsibilities
Lead and develop the team and function?Resource planning, 16 employees
Secure correct competencies in order to achives the daily, monthly and yearly goals and objectives as well as being successful in developing our planning function to world class
Set direction for the planning function, connect strategies and relevant measurements to secure a sustainable performance in line within the companys expactations
Manage budget and cost efficiency initiatives based on loss elimination
Secure detailed production planning and tactical volume planning, covering both Assembly and Machining
Apply best practices and principles for planning, both logic and ways of working
Define routines for managing excellent recurrent maintainance of our planning systems
Be part of the continuous improvement and development of Volvo Powertrain Productions harmonized way of working with planning
Taking an active role in networks
You are a member of the Supplychain management team in Köping
You are a member of the global Order and Planning management team within Volvo Powertrain Production
Ensure that laws, regulations, Volvo recommendations and our Code of Conduct are followed
Secure that the latest valid issue of laws and regulation for safety, environment and work environment are followed without remarks
Follow principles and Code of Conduct given in the Volvo Way
Qualifications and Education
University/Master 's degree within Supplychain management or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of working experience within production environment, preferably within supply chain management, order and volume planning or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience of line management/functional management and to drive and coordinate crossfuntional networks
Good understanding of the complete logistics process
Good knowledge and user experience in Excel and Windows Office program
Excellent in English, both in spoken and written
