Vattenfall IT is the internal provider of IT for the entire Vattenfall Group. Vattenfall IT is an international Staff Function that provides efficient and reliable IT-services and support. Vattenfall IT has around 1 400 employees spread across Vattenfall companies in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Poland and Sweden.
We are now looking to recruit a manager for a new team in the Business Specific IT Supply organisation (FIBD).
You will be responsible for growing the business of the new team, building up the team, establish needed processes and routines and for the deliveries to our stakeholders in Business Unit Distribution and Business Unit Heat.
The services offered by the team will primarily be Project management of "Turn Key" IT projects, and Application Maintenance (SLA:s). In both cases the team acts as a representative for the whole IT Supply organisation towards the customers/Business Units.
It is therefore a success factor to establish good relationships both on the customer side, and in the IT supply organisation. An efficient use of sub-contractors/resources from other parts of Vattenfall, and from External companies will also be needed to fulfil the needs of our customers.
The team will supply both Tech IT systems like Scada Systems, PLC:s, and RTU:s, and other Business Specific IT systems for example Network Information Systems, Maintenance Systems, Work order management Systems, Metering Systems, and other specific applications. You will have full financial responsibilities include budgeting, prognosis and cost allocation, report to the Head of Business Specific IT Supply to Distribution and Heat (FIBD) and be part of a Cross Border Management Team. Your responsibilities
• You will be responsible for growing the business of the new team, building up the team, establish needed processes and routines and for the deliveries to our stakeholders in Business Unit Distribution and Business Unit Heat
• Own, plan and secure the delivery of the project portfolio within the new team "FIBDO"
• Recourse allocation of project managers as well as strategic competence planning
• Leadership of the team, FIBDO
• Financial responsibilities include budgeting, prognosis and cost allocation.
We are looking for an a person with
• The ability to lead, deliver and communicate in a business with many stakeholders
• The ability to growing the business of the new team and building up the team
• Analytical skills - seeing the whole and the details, with a structured way of working
• The ability to build trust and confidence, and to be a team player in a cross-functional relationship with customers
• Interest in inspiring commitment in groups and individuals. Qualifications
• You have leadership experience and preferably experience from Applications Management, Development and IT Operations, Project Management and cross-organisational deliveries
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes such as ITIL
• Fluency in Swedish and good working English (oral and written)
• An academic degree within a relevant area such as for example IT, systems engineering, business administration or equivalent.
