The group at Volvo Penta Technology is working with Field Test and Measurement Support for both Marine and Industrial applications (ICE and EMOB).
The main professions within this group are Field Test Engineers and Measurement Engineers. Now we are looking for you, a creative and curious manager who would love to take the lead in meeting customer satisfaction and encourage the group of 14 engineers.
What will you do?
As the group manager for Field Test & Measurement Support, you have the privilege to lead a group of passionate engineers who enjoy what they do. The group is built by teamwork and engagement, having fun together and supporting each other in our daily work. In this role, you are expected to continuously drive the development of individuals and the team as well as to contribute to the development of the organization.
Field testing is the last step in the verification and validation chain of our future products. This is the first time the newly developed products are put in real life operation together with selected customers. The team is responsible for defining new field tests together with the projects, sales, and aftermarket department, with shipyards and OEM customers. The team is also in charge of defining measurement requirements for these tests and evaluate all collected data and structure it in a good way.
You will have the opportunity to influence processes and ways of working in the Testing & Laboratory Management Team.

Qualifications
M.Sc. degree or similar experience
Proven leadership skills
Good knowledge in English and Swedish
Keen interest and skills in people development
Business oriented
Customer focused
