Job Summary:
The purpose of Region EMEA Events and Exhibitions department within the Marketing function is to lead and develop the events and exhibition management strategy for Region EMEA (dealer, customer and public events including product launch events and Volvo Days).
The role is part of the EMEA Marketing Management team.
Main Tasks:
• Lead the overall development of the events and exhibition management strategy (dealer, customer and public events including product launch events and Volvo Days).
• Manage all personnel and their development in the Events and Exhibitions department
• Develop the long term EMEA marketing strategies in cooperation with the Marketing Management team
• Set and manage overall events and exhibition plan and budget for the region
• Managing and supporting selective marketing events within region EMEA
• Managing and supporting selective exhibitions within region EMEA
• Ensure consistent branding throughout events within the region
• Drive utilization of all AB Volvo sponsored and supported events such as Volvo Ocean Race and Volvo Golf initiatives within the region
• Support major events such as Volvo Days and
European Product Launch
• Manage marketing events at Customer Center such as segment days and similar
• Initiate and drive the development of marketing events, both at Customer Center and locally within the region
• Manage and support local marketing events within the region
• Support and manage exhibitions within the region
• Be the natural partner to Channel Competence Development when organising larger training activities
• Maintain and further develop relevant policies and guidelines for events within the region
• Establish the Opex budget for the Events and Exhibitions department. Full cost center budget responsibility.

Required knowledge & experience:
1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
• Degree level or equivalent, ideally marketing related
• Experience from events and exhibition management
• Experience from the construction equipment industry
• Good understanding of Volvo Group, Volvo CE and the brand platform
