That's why you should choose us!
At Scania, we believe that safety is the foundation of success. Here you will have the opportunity to influence the work environment of the future and be involved in projects that make a real difference to achieve a safe work environment. You will be part of a team that values collaboration, knowledge and development - and where your expertise is contributing.
Your mission
As a Machinery Safety Specialist, you are an independent expert and advisor. In the role of Machinery Safety Specialist, you will:
• Participate based on specific tasks according to the Scania's project management model for investment projects for production equipment.
• Ensure legal compliance and interpret directives such as the Machinery Directive (Machinery Regulation), as well as links to LVD, PED and ATEX.
• Assist with expertise in risk assessments and investigations of HSE events (incidents/accidents).
• Inspection of production equipment, both at suppliers and on site in our own production.
• Contribute strategically to the work with internal guidelines, processes and documentation to achieve optimal machine safety.
You will be a knowledge bearer for our internal requirements and guidelines and work closely with production technology, HSE functions and project managers to create safe and efficient solutions. Travel for work occurs.
Duties included in the role
• Interpretation and application of occupational health and safety legislation and machinery directives.

What we offer you
• A dynamic work environment where your skills make a difference.
• Good development opportunities - over time, we invest in your skills and future.
• Flexibility and balance - we believe in sustainable working conditions, allowing remote work depending on the needs of the business.
• A team that guarantees quality, collaboration and constant development. As well as values-based, relationship-based leadership.
Who are we looking for?

You are pedagogical and work with a prestige-free and trust-based method. You have the ability to adapt to prevailing conditions in different contexts. You can see the big picture and at the same time the small details of complex solutions.

The role also involves acting on Scania's HSE strategy, which requires a strong interest in working from an added value perspective and promoting a healthy and safe work culture.
