JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis Logistics team has the main responsibility for movements from our different configuration centres, located both within EU, Asia and America. Your role as our new Logistics Analyst will be to analyse reports received from our transport suppliers, as well as internal data and provide recommendations for best solutions based on our requirements.
Other responsibility will include assisting other internal company departments with bookings from one of our Configurations Logistics Centres located in Atlanta, Thailand, Budapest or Jirny and assist the local teams with any questions they may have.
It will also be your responsibility to insure that procedures that are in place per customer requirement are communicated to all centres as applicable.
You will also work closely with the local logistics team and assist as a back up as required.
Your main interfaces will be people within our Order department handling shipping and purchasing, staff members at our different configuration logistic centres around the world and our end customers. Apart from the above mentioned tasks it will be your job to:
• Assist on analysis of different freight alternatives
• Extract statistical information and complete ad hoc reports when required.
• Insure that our business system is updated with the latest and most accurate data and inform the different departments accordingly
• Updating in house databases and handling general statistical duties within the Logistics department.
• Follow up and record issues that occur from shipments originating on other locations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a driven and customer focused individual with a University degree in Logistics (or similar) and at least two years of experience from similar assignments. We also believe you are structured and a skilled administrator with ability to review, document, file and follow up on issues to insure that they are handled accordingly.
As the position involves a lot of internal and external contact it’s crucial that you are service minded and have very good communication skills in English (written and verbal). You have the ability to notice and solve problems pro actively, and furthermore minimize the risk of them happening again. We also believe you have the following knowledge and abilities:
• Analytical, detail-oriented
• Advanced excel skills
• Ability to multi-task
