We are now looking for a Line PM and Delivery Coordinator
to the department Service Engineering & Information Management (SEIM)
About SEIM
We do different kinds of service information products, including standard times. We also provide business value by seeking concepts to minimize unplanned vehicle stand-still time in the workshop, and to explore and develop aftermarket business opportunities given by our products. The end users of our services are the workshop Technicians, staff who delivers repair & maintenance for the vehicle owners as well as the drivers of trucks. We also support the Soft Offer Solution Service Planning, by providing all the service data necessary to establish Service Schedules
Role and responsibilities
As Line PM and Delivery Coordinator, you have a vital role in the management of the SEIM project deliveries from the requests in truck project (and bus component projects) to the final deliveries of support products for the Aftermarket. You are a member of the extended management team at the department and will report to the SEIM Site GOT Manager. We are an engaged and enthusiastic team of line managers and operative project managers.
In Project Management you also report to the after Aftermarket PM for the appointed projects. The position is at site Gothenburg within After Market Technology, Volvo Group Truck Technology.
Your work is essential to make sure that the SEIM project deliveries will be delivered with high quality and in time according to the commitment of SEIM department to the project. You will work in a global environment and have contacts with the SEIM functions at the other Aftermarket Technology sites around the world.
Short description of actions that are done by the Line PM/ Delivery Coordinator:
For specific appointed projects:
Operative project management responsibilities including managing of the SEIM scope, time plan and cost estimate including risks along the project development process, DVP
Obstacles are identified and resolved in order to make the SEIM project members work go smoothly
Lead, follow up and report the project deliverables
Further on the responsibilities includes the following for the SEIM department:
Prepare project steering of resources for decision
Coordinate and give input to project calculations
Coordinate the update of project status in pulse
Run fact based communication with the stakeholders through specific channels

Qualifications
University degree, MSc or BSc, or equivalent experience
Fluent in English and preferably more languages
Knowledge of the Volvo group truck business and Volvo Truck and -Bus complete vehicles is considered a merit
