Test Environment Service (TES) is one of the departments within RAN Pipeline Services sector (RPS) and part of PDU Digital Production System (DPS).
We are responsible for carrying out a global Test Environment strategy in line with the overall DNEW site strategy and providing modern, stable and cost-efficient Test Environment for entire DNEW development, including both 4G 5G RAN and Cloud RAN.
Reporting to the Head of Test Environment Service and part of TES Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading and evolving the STP Tech. Management section, a service-minded and a highly skilled team that is capable of providing a world class test environment. The unit is part of crafting the future Test Environments that simplifies the everyday life of developers, with the purpose of growing job happiness of our developers as well as making Ericsson R&D number one in the world.
This section is responsible for Sub-program level program management, and STP solution design. Capability management and TES strategy execution follows up is within this section.
In this role you will work closely with the Head of Test Environment Service and all units therein, units within DPS and DNEW, Service Area Networks and other stakeholders to ensure that the Test Environment Service is delivering needed value.
As a leader in the TES organization we expect you to have a broad approach, critical thinking and that you embrace collaboration and contribute with positive energy and work climate.
What you will do
Be responsible for developing, managing and executing the section strategy in line with the TES and RPS sector strategy.
Together with your team support the transform of our deliveries to services, including deployment, operation, support, monitor, dimension, and development.
Lead and evolve a group of technical leaders, coach, challenge and develop individuals and team members to reach their full potential.
Be responsible for TES global capability.
Interact in your daily work with a multiple number of stakeholders and enable a good collaboration.
Drive and contribute to the TES strategy execution.
Interact with many units within DPS (Digital Production System) and DNEW, Service Area Networks (SAN) and other partners.
Be an active member of the leadership team and continuously contribute towards reaching the objectives of the unit.
You will bring
University degree on Engineering, or relevant education on similar level.
Proven experience as leader including 5+ years as line manager in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Pro-activeness and change management-skills, leading to operational excellence.
Shown passion for the area of development infrastructure/development environment/production architecture.
Can do attitude and passion to win.
Experience in working with Production Products.
Courageous leadership, providing clear direction and setting appropriate standards of behaviour through uncompromising integrity.
A passion for inspiring changes and leading to set/meet performance targets.
Proactive and change management leader, leading to operational excellence.
Good understanding of Capex, Opex and cost control.
Fact-based timely decisions - not afraid to make tough decisions.
Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills.
Ability to understand customer insights and value creating opportunities - E2E focus.
Track record in bringing structure to complex areas, simplifying the complex and securing alignment and delivery by collaborating across the organisation.
