Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with our partners and customers we create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.
We are now looking for a Line Manager for our Marketplace and Developer Portal within Digital Channels and to take part in our exiting journey ahead. We are a collaborative team of more than 20 highly skilled Product Owners, Developers, User Experience Designers, Business Analysts and Architects with an ambitious target to create world class user experience for our Digital Channels Products. Our Line Manager will manage the Marketplace and Developer Portal teams. This person will play a key role in guiding the success of our products leading cross-functional product teams.
The role
In this role you will have a combination of responsibilities. You will manage a full team, as Line Manager, building the spirit and setting direction to reach the targets together. You will also set the vision of a product area, and act as Product Area Manager, lead with passion and empower your product owners and agile teams to provide the greatest products. With the voice of the customers and alignment with key stakeholders, you secure the "end-to-end" ownership, delivery and continuous improvements of the different products part of your area. You will also;
Own the user experience and business value with ROI by encouraging the teams to build the right solutions and to build them right with built-in quality.
Empower the teams to implement an agile product ownership; learning what problems to solve, learning, prototyping and testing, implementing the proper process and methods.
Oversee the product area lifecycle, roadmap and backlog, prioritise and plan the sprints in cooperation with the teams and our RTE.
Create an environment for self-contained and team-driven decisions, enable product reviews, facilitate open communication, and remove product-related issues and obstacles.
Your profile
You have a strategic and business mindset, an innovative problem solver and a collaborative team player.
You are born leader with a true passion for people, a catalyst for the team to deliver successfully.
You are used to taking responsibility, a "can-do" attitude and have the ability to communicate on different levels within an large organization.
You are highly skilled at delivering digital channels or softeware services.
You have a university degree in a relevant field, and experience in agile ways of working and are familiar with SAFe.
You have a 5 years + experiences in Product Management or similar.
You have a valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen.
You are fluent in English - both written and spoken.
