IKEA Industry Älmhult AB produces 7,5 million pieces yearly of pigmented kitchen fronts. Our production in Älmhult, with 270 coworkers, has a high level of automation and we have a strong focus on IKEA Production System, which is the concept for working LEAN and with continuous improvements within IKEA Industry.

We are now looking for a Lean & Quality Manager to our team in Älmhult
Want to join us in making home a little better for billions of people? As L&Q Manager you will drive and develop the Lean, Quality and Automation processes within IKEA Industry Älmhult.
A day in your life with us
As L&Q Manager you take part of the operational and strategical development of our highly automated factory and you initiate and support activities for growth and increased profitability. You are part of the local Management Team and you lead a team of engaged production technicians, quality engineers and OT / IT specialists.
You will work in a broad role where part of the challenge lies in being compliant with quality documentation, finding better ways through production technology and take automation and IT to the next level.

Your responsibility lies within the fields of:
IPS (IKEA Production System which is our Lean Manufacturing concept); with clear principles that guide the factory, it is about managing the process a little better tomorrow. With the aim of creating a learning organization and by showing good examples we lead the journey of change forward.
Quality
To create a better everyday life for the many people, we are ensuring that the requirements that are on us as a supplier are met. In this way we will meet the expectations that each of our customers has for the product purchased. Having a zero defect mindset means that we strive for stable processes in all parts of our work. We learn from our deviations and remove them at the root of the source
Automation and OT/IT
Our highly automated production is constantly changing, where automation, IT and OT are becoming an increasingly important part of supporting the processes of always delivering at the highest level. Specialists manage the techniques used today and participate in the development of future technologies. We are heading for exciting times with Industry 4.0 (Manufacturing of the future) where connected machines and data evaluation will simplify everyday life in production.
Building autonomous teams are in focus, a well-developed team with the right authority and knowledge will take ownership of their process. The goal is accelerated improvement work throughout the company. With close cooperation to production, customer and business team, way of working and technology are constantly challenged to improve quality and cost.
About you
As a person you have lots of energy and are driven to work in an ever changing business environment. You are leading with strong communication skills and you are passionate about working together with people and building trustful relationships. Moreover you are logical, analytical and you have a holistic business understanding.
Qualifications:
• University degree in Lean/Quality/Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience from a similar position, preferably within manufacturing environment.
• Excellent Microsoft office skills and experience from digital solutions such as Qlickview.
• Knowledge within project management.
• Fluent in both verbal and written Swedish and English.
