We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for a Senior System Engineer (Front-End) to join an exciting project across Region Skåne for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing hundreds of existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities for a comprehensive solution. The new system includes a service to manage the health of their 1.3 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and improved work environment for healthcare professionals.
Cerner Technology Services (CTS) is one of the fastest growing segments of Cerner's business. CTS's primary function is to host, manage and monitor client systems. Additionally, CTS provides disaster recovery and temp hosting services for Cerner clients. CTS' remote hosting option (RHO) provides superior performance, security, reliability, and scalability with a lower up-front financial commitment from the client by combining hardware, networking technologies, and technical expertise. It allows healthcare organizations to leverage the most sophisticated and powerful IT solutions available today from our state-of-the-art data centers.
As a Lead System Engineer within CTS Infrastructure Services you will be responsible to Provide system implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of Cerner's solutions and services. Responsibilities will include:
• Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability
• Mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting
• Manage changes and project activities, and communicate with impacted stakeholders
• Support installation and maintenance of Cerner solutions, layered software, and infrastructure
• Evaluate, update, and improve project documentation
• Develop and deploy automation tools to optimize daily activities
• Provide Tier III and other support per service request
Basic Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least 5 years of System Engineering experience
• English minimum level C1, Swedish minimum level A2
• At least 5 years of Cerner Millenium experience
Expectations:
*Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
• Willing to work on-call and irregular hours as needed
