Would you like to join a dynamic Nordic team, working together to analyse, develop, and shape the future of key credit and collateral data processes?
As a Senior/Lead Data Analyst, you'll collaborate with passionate colleagues to drive innovation, solve complex challenges, and help build the core capabilities that power our collateral and credit operations. You'll use data-driven approaches to influence key decisions, ensure regulatory and business needs are met, and contribute to solutions that make a difference across the bank.
If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are excited by the opportunity to connect regulatory requirements, capital impact, and business processes, we'd love to hear from you. Bring your expertise and ideas-together, we'll shape the future of credit and collateral management.
About our team
Welcome to the Retail Credit & Collateral Insights team, part of Credit Change & Development, GCM.
We are a team of dedicated specialists passionate about optimizing how collateral is used across the bank's credit, capital, and business processes-playing a vital role in advancing GCM's strategic agenda.
Our mission is to deliver valuable insights, support, and analysis on collateral, while building harmonized, efficient, and sustainable processes that are safe, trusted, and future-proof. By doing so, we empower the best possible solutions for our customers and stakeholders, ultimately contributing to great customer experiences.
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions - and that we imagine you share with us.
What you'll be doing
Your main responsibilities will include:
Acting as a data subject-matter expert in change initiatives where collateral plays a key role, using data-driven approaches to understand, describe and design solutions (e.g., risk models or capital-impact related topics).
Supporting stakeholders by providing ad hoc analyses across different areas of Collateral Management.
Governing collateral oversight and monitoring processes.
Ensuring that solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements while maximising value.
Building deep expertise in Nordea's credit & collateral processes.
Who you are
You thrive in change-driven environments, take initiative and are comfortable working with data, automation and IT. Strong interpersonal skills will help you drive initiatives across countries and collaborate with diverse teams. You can deep-dive into detailed requirements, processes and systems while also connecting your work to a broader strategic perspective.
Your background and skills include:
Experience with data, processes and relevant IT systems.
Solid programming skills in SQL; knowledge of SAS and/or Python is an advantage.
Experience in analysing complex data and designing data-centric solutions.
Experience driving initiatives linked to complex data flows or extensive business processes related to credit and/or credit risk.
The ability to interpret regulations, processes and data to deliver insights and value.
Understanding of data management frameworks and architecture.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with an ability to build strong relationships across business and IT.
Full proficiency in written and spoken English.
It would be ideal if you also:
Experience in the collateral and/or credit area.
An interest in AI and a proactive mindset regarding AI/LLM solutions.
Experience of working with data governance.
Understanding of master data management, including mapping and optimisation.
