On behalf of one of our clients we are looking for an independent and structured Laboratory Technician for a temporary assignment in Stockholm. The assignment will start immediately and there is a great chance that it will result in a permanent position at the client company.
Responsibilities:
As the laboratory Technician within R&D your main task will be to perform different microbiological analysis on our client's products as well as products and samples from external collaborators. You will work with common microbiological methods and some company specific methods will also occur.
Other task/responsibilities will be:
• Maintaining the analytical instrumentation at optimal conditions.
• Writing and maintaining laboratory SOPs
• Writing technical reports
• Development and optimization of microbiological assays (to some extent)
• Assisting in different research projects

We are looking for a person with a relevant science degree and experience from microbiological work and from working according to ISO and/or GMP. Since you are supposed to assist in different research projects and write SOPs and reports it is very important that you have excellent oral and written English. Furthermore you should have good computer skills and be familiar with the different applications of Microsoft Office.
We are looking for a flexible team player, with a humble attitude and excellent communication- and social skills. You are ambitious, enthusiastic and goal oriented and always strive to achieve the highest quality in everything that you do. You are able to work effectively and structured under pressure and to deliver within the deadlines.
Personal suitability is of great importance for this position.
