Adecco Life Science is currently seeking 4-5 Laboratory engineers to SCA in Gothenburg. These are consultant assignments expected to start in January 2017 and proceed for 3 months. One of them is to fill a parental leave for 6 months.

The Arena
SCA develops and produces sustainable personal care, tissue and forest products. Sales are conducted in about 100 countries under many strong brands, including the leading global brands TENA and Tork, and regional brands, such as Libero, Libresse, Lotus, Nosotras, Saba, Tempo and Vinda.
The Role
• Evaluate products, pack and/or material performance as laboratory expert in innovation projects and other activities, such as value engineering and quality improvements.
• Translate product design parameters to measurable properties with relevant test methods, equipment and procedures
• Develop, evaluate and validate new laboratory methods
• Maintain knowledge about internal and external test methods
• Participate in R&D projects to deliver on the R&D platforms and improve state of readiness for future innovation projects
• Perform analysis of competitor products
• Work according to procedures and instructions in the laboratory quality system and in the working environment plan
Qualifications
• Technical university degree (preferably BSc. in Chemicals, Textile or Bioscience)
• Laboratory experience
• Experience from statistical analysis and analytical programs
• Fluent in English, both oral and written capabilities
• Good communication skills
