Glooko/Diasend simplify life for people with diabetes and facilitates the work of their health care providers by optimizing diabetes data management.
Our comprehensive and market leading solutions involve uploading, storing and analyzing data from a clear majority of the diabetes devices currently available on the global market - allowing patients and caregivers to easily access, understand and share the same information. This equals highly valuable support for people with diabetes both during and in-between doctor visits, and makes the work of diabetes coaches around the world much more efficient and accurate.
Over the last few years we have grown quickly and are now at the point of the next big phase of expansion, aiming at establishing a presence with new exciting products in several markets within the near future. And to get there, the search for a number of new talented and driven co-workers has now begun.
We are a global company with about 80 employees, located in Silicon Valley, Chicago, London and Gothenburg - currently serving 4 000 diabetes clinics in 23 countries across 15 languages, impacting the lives of tens of millions of people with diabetes on a daily basis. Our largest owners are Samsung Ventures, Medtronic, Canaan Partners and Social Capital.
In our brand new office close to Liseberg (yes - you will have Lisebergskortet as an employee benefit) in Gothenburg we are approximately 35 co-workers. We are responsible for sales, customer support and marketing for all international markets except North America. We also have a dedicated team of engineers that works with technical development for all global markets.

We 're looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer.
You will mainly work with testing the compatibility of new and existing diabetes devices with the various products in our offering. We currently support over 150 different devices and the number is constantly increasing. Testing these devices involves manual and automated testing techniques, both in the initial phase when a new device should be supported, as well as in the regression phase when our products are updated. You will learn the ins and outs of all diabetes devices and work closely with the device manufacturers to make sure we have good test data.You will work with all phases of the verification activities, both practical testing as well as planning and documentation. This involves identifying the needs for appropriate test environments as well as setting them up. You will work closely with the developers to ensure that defects are correctly identified and fixed. At Glooko/Diasend you will be part of a team and report to the company's R&D Director.
Experience and competence requirements
We are looking for a person that is passionate for and want to learn more about testing.
• You have attention to details, as well as good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• You are self-motivated and learns fast.
• Preferrably you have a Bachelor's degree in science or maths.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, relational databases and server systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of issue tracking systems such as Jira is an advantage.
As a person, you are outgoing and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Experience from the medical device industry and/or smaller companies is not required, but an advantage. Fluent English is mandatory, as we work tightly with our US colleagues.
