Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Engineer with interest in Flight Control Systems (FCS) to help in the design and develop a unique flight control system and primary control functions. The system will employ electrical signalling and actuation operating as a Fly-by-Wire system.
This is a broad developmental role covering design, analysis, and testing and therefore, we are looking for an engineer with the ability to develop professionally from their work experiences, and eventually assume technical ownership of functions or products within the Flight Controls team. Preferably you have 1-2 years of similar working experience.
Qualifications & Experience

BS or MS in engineering (Aerospace/Aeronautics/Electrical)

Aeronautical Science or Electrical Engineering studies of systems and their applications in aerospace products

Experience in a training or work-study program in a commercial or research environment, being trained or working with electronic systems or aerospace products

1-2 years working experience within an aerospace environment is preferable

Assignment using computational analytical methods to assess design options or predict functional behaviour of practical applications

Experience with characterisation of components, systems, or definition of products in the form of technical requirements

Practical experience with developing or conducting tests or simulation of mechanical or electronic components or software-based systems

Familiarisation with use of MATLAB

Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

Eagerness to work with others in a team environment

Passion for involvement with aircraft development and Heart's mission

Experience training or working in a professional environment

Tutorial or working knowledge of systems engineering development principles and the importance of safety critical systems (SAE ARP 4754/4761)
