We are now looking for an IT Team Lead to one of the world's most leading manufacturers of cars and motorcycles - the BMW Group. Responsibilities
What awaits you?
In this role, you will get to work in an international environment and immerse yourself in BMW's Financial Services products and technology. You will play a central role in the link between the BMW Markets, the central Northern European organization and the headquarters in Munich in all IT related topics.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
Managing, coordinating and developing your team to be able to support projects and to assure stable operations.
You will lead, manage and develop the IT team utilizing an effective management structure and approach to ensure all team members understand their accountabilities and are motivated to achieve the departmental and company business targets.
Collaborating together with other IT departments in Europe on regional topics and reuse existing IT solutions to assure optimal use of resources available in the BMW group.
To summarize you will be responsible for the entire IT landscape within the Financial Services organization in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Furthermore, you have a central role as the link between BMW's local Northern Europe organization and the head office in Munich on both, the IT and the business side.
Qualifications
Who you are:
You are an experienced IT Team Lead comfortable with managing products with a high degree of technical complexity. You are proactive and highly self-sufficient, you thrive in fast moving environments, and you inspire and lead people through change. As you will be interfacing with many different stakeholders, both from within the BMW organization as well as external partners you are expected to exercise strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
The skills that set you apart:
A couple years of experience from IT Project Management, IT System Operations or IT System Development
Experience managing teams and projects in an international environment
A structured and result oriented way of working
We are looking for someone who wants to develop together with BMW and excels at sharing their knowledge and experience. As IT Team Lead NFSC, you are strategic, analytical and have very good social/communication skills. We also see that you are driven, organized and have good problem-solving abilities. You should speak and write freely in English. Fluency, or good knowledge, in any of the Nordic languages and/or German is meritorious.

Further information
The position is located at BMW's Nordic head office in Sollentuna / Silverdal. The premises are modern and include a lunch restaurant as well as access to a gym and daily workouts. As a BMW employee, everyone gets the opportunity to drive their own BMW or MINI on favorable terms. The position is full-time, starting immediately or by other agreement.
