Are you passionate about IT Security and want to be a part of shaping the future of a global organization at the forefront of sustainable transport solutions? At Scania, we are expanding our IT Security Operations group and looking for an IT Security Specialist with a focus on Vulnerability Management. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and want to contribute to exciting innovations, this role might be for you.

Who We Are
Scania is undergoing an exciting transformation, evolving from a traditional truck manufacturer to a leader in sustainable transport solutions, including electric and autonomous vehicles. Our success depends on flexible, efficient, and secure IT solutions. IT is at the core of this transformation, and our IT Security Operations group plays a crucial role in protecting Scania's assets and reputation from cyber risks.
You will be joining a dedicated team that provides first-class IT security services across four core areas: Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Protection, Penetration Testing & IT Forensics, and our Security Operations Center (SOC). We aim to provide robust security solutions for both the industrial and commercial sides of Scania.

Who You Are
We are looking for someone who is a problem-solver, a team player, and passionate about security. You have the technical expertise to perform vulnerability scanning and analysis but also the communication skills to explain complex issues to diverse stakeholders.
Key qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience with vulnerability scanning and analysis in large corporate environments.
• Familiarity with web application scanning tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish.
Skills We're Looking For
We're especially interested in candidates with experience in:
• Attack Surface Management
• Static-/Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST)
• Vulnerability management for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Handling SaaS vulnerabilities and security challenges

What You'll Do
As a key member of the Vulnerability Management team, you will collaborate with a dynamic group to reinforce and expand our security services. You'll support the identification and management of vulnerabilities across Scania's systems, working closely with internal teams to mitigate risks.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing vulnerability scanning across systems, servers, networks, and applications to identify and investigate potential weaknesses.
• Maintaining and enhancing our scanning environment by managing upgrades and optimizing tools.
• Collaborating with teams across Scania to explain vulnerabilities in clear, non-technical terms and support their resolution efforts.
• Leading efforts to ensure timely patching and follow-up on vulnerabilities.
• Using your scripting and automation skills (PowerShell and others) to streamline scanning and remediation processes.
• Supporting IT security audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Conducting detailed web application scans, combining manual analysis with automated tools to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Why Scania?
By joining Scania, you'll be part of a collaborative and innovative environment. We foster diversity and inclusion, encouraging individuals of all genders and backgrounds to apply. At Scania, we believe that diversity strengthens our teams and promotes creative solutions.

What we offer:
• Permanent employment from day one-no trial period.
• Flexible work arrangements: Choose to work from home, our office in Stockholm City, or our headquarters in Södertälje. We value work-life balance, and we meet once or twice a week in Södertälje for collaboration and fika.
• Continuous development: We invest in your growth, offering training and development opportunities.
• Competitive benefits, including annual bonuses, wellness contributions, and more.

How to Apply
If you're excited to contribute to a future-facing company with a global impact, we'd love to hear from you. To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and why you are interested in joining Scania's IT Security Operations group. A background check might be conducted for this position.
