We're one of the world's oldest start-ups - and we're just getting started.
At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world-class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we're shaping the future - and we want you to be part of it.

About the team
You will join Global Information Services (GIS) - Husqvarna Group's global IT organization with more than 200 colleagues across the world. GIS ensures that the company has the technology, data, and security capabilities required to operate efficiently and innovate with confidence.
Within GIS, you will be part of the Cyber Information Security Office (CISO), a team responsible for defining and driving Husqvarna Group's overarching cyber security strategy. As Information Security Officer, you will work closely with GIS teams, IT Sourcing, Legal, Group Compliance, and external partners to ensure that our security controls, policies and processes are robust, consistent, and well-integrated across the organization.

About the role
As Information Security Officer, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining Husqvarna Group's security governance framework. You will own and develop the policies, standards, and control requirements that secure our enterprise landscape - ensuring they are clear, up-to-date, and aligned with both internal needs and external regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and driving the development of security policies, standards, and control requirements for Husqvarna Group's internal digital assets.
Ensuring controls have clear ownership and establishing effective follow-up and monitoring processes.
Leading the third-party cybersecurity risk management process, including assessments, remediation follow-up, and collaboration with IT Sourcing and external service providers.
Supporting Procurement and Legal during vendor onboarding and contract evaluations.
Assisting with risk assessments, compliance activities, and internal/external audit processes.
Providing clear KPIs, data-driven insights, and structured reporting to the CISO and other stakeholders.

This role sits at the intersection of governance, compliance, risk, and security - making it a critical contributor to Husqvarna Group's cyber resilience.

About you
You are a structured, analytical, and collaborative professional who enjoys creating clarity and consistency in complex environments. You thrive in roles where governance meets execution, and you have a strong ability to bring different teams and stakeholders together around shared standards and ways of working.
You combine strong communication skills with an ability to simplify and harmonize, making it easier for the organization to understand and adopt security requirements. You are comfortable navigating global structures and are driven by building scalable, long-term improvements.

Your skills and background
You bring experience from information security, risk management, or compliance, paired with a strong understanding of industry frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST, and CIS. You have a solid grasp of enterprise security architecture, and you excel at organizing, documenting, and communicating complex information in a clear and actionable way.
You can harmonize and integrate security controls across a diverse organization, and you work effectively with both IT and business stakeholders in a global context.

Location
This position can be based at one of our sites in Sweden: Huskvarna, Göteborg or Stockholm.
With our hybrid working approach, you'll have flexibility to work both onsite and remotely. We meet in the office at least 2-3 days a week (around 50%).

Your application
This is an exciting time to join Husqvarna Group - apply as soon as possible, as applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kristin.sundlo@husqvarnagroup.com
