We are now looking for an Investigations & Intelligence Lead to play a key role within the newly created Financial Crime Intelligence & Analytics (FCIA) area.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing cross jurisdictional special investigations and for coordinating both operational and strategic intelligence development projects. This is an opportunity to assist in building a new function and to lay the foundations for the future.
The position we offer

As Investigations & Intelligence Lead, you coordinate and lead complex investigations & extensive intelligence development initiatives. By utilizing your expertise and experience, you design and build operational services for investigations and intelligence development.

You act as the "Service Lead" for the FCIA work-stream within the current Nordea Financial Crime Change Programme (FCCP). The objective of the FCIA work stream is to create Financial Crime Intelligence & Analytics capabilities that enable a shift from reactive to proactive management of financial crime risk.

The location of this role is Stockholm. You will report directly to Head of the Financial Crime Intelligence & Analytics.
The qualifications you need

We are looking for a global lead with experience in building an effective team of highly skilled specialists with a hybrid skillset across investigations, intelligence development and analytics. You thrive in a complex environment and are used to operate in a large, multi-national business.

Your background and skills include:

• Strong technical understanding covering AML, Sanctions and ABC.
• Up to date knowledge of the European Financial Crime regulatory framework.
• Subject matter expert in Financial Crime data with a proven track record in transforming raw data into meaningful and actionable intelligence.
• Several years' experience in utilising analytic tools for data exploration, analysis and visualisation within the Financial Services / Financial Crime industry.
• Experience in statistical modelling and big data technologies (Hadoop / Graph Databases).
• In-depth understanding of a Financial Institutions systems infrastructure (Customer, Transactional, Payments) and Financial Crime monitoring and detection systems.

• You are skilled at interacting with stakeholders and have the capability and knowledge to influence and advise senior management within Nordea.
• You have strong cultural awareness and a dynamic approach with the willingness to take on extra responsibilities when needed.

Finally, you have Computer Science or Statistical based Degree and AML (ACAMS, ICA) or Investigations qualifications.
