We are searching for 16 talented individuals to join us as International Trainees at Vattenfall. Help us lead the energy transition and make a real impact.
About the traineeship.
This traineeship offers you a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in sustainable business. Each of the trainee positions is distinct, tied to a department within a specific business area and working location. This means that each position has its own tailored responsibilities, challenges and matching profile.

Your role as a Trainee
• Perform screenings and interpret audits of suppliers and partners to Vattenfall, including making recommendations to buyers, managers and relevant colleagues on how to progress.
• Support our buyers, employees, contractors and suppliers on sustainability and our supply chain practices by i.e. providing trainings
• Perform research and analysis on sustainability topics like Code of Conduct for suppliers and partners, target setting, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), valuation of social and environmental impacts, as well as ad hoc requests, identify sustainability gaps and improvement needs, focus on supply chain related activities, and implement related actions
Qualifications
To be considered for our traineeship, you should:
Be a recent graduate with an academic degree or expected graduation before March 2025 in e.g sustainable science/development, supply chain management, legal studies in e.g. human rights.
Have maximum one year of work experience.
Fluent in Swedish and English. Skills in German, Dutch and Chinese are a merit.
Be willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization.
Identify with our principles: active, open, positive and safety.

As a Sustainability & Compliance analyst you recognize yourself in the following:
The ability to extract, synthesize, and convey relevant, understandable insights from very complex topics including judgement calls of social aspects
Strong analytical and social skills, can handle pressure while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing demands.
Assertive and self-assured individual who is able to communicate effectively and confidently in a variety of situations
Humility as a key element of your collaboration philosophy, coupled with a sense of determination
A desire to have a positive impact on society as a core motivating principle

Location:
You will be working in the Sustainable Supply Chain Management unit, part of the corporate sustainability department, located in Solna, Sweden.
