Place of action
Support and Services, a Business Area of Saab, and the Business Unit MRO (Maintenance and Repair Operations) supplies a wide range of MRO related services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle. We deliver MRO solutions for complete systems and solutions, from safety materials and sensors such as radars and optronics to weapon systems.The team you will join at MRO Marketing & Sales consists of 14 highly qualified persons working with business development and strategy, marketing, sales and contract management. We have offices in Linköping, Arboga and Gothenburg.
Your future challenge
Together with our operative departments you will develop the MRO capabilities for both Saab products and solutions, as well as for equipment from other manufacturers in the Air, Land and Naval domains.Our Business Unit is in an expansive phase, continuously working to meet our objectives for growth and profitability with a competent, creative and driven team. We are moving from a history with a single military customer to multiple customers from commercial and defence bases on a global and fiercely competitive market. You will have great opportunities to influence and shape the future business of the Business Unit as we now take the next step in our international transformation.The work entails frequent international business travel, however you will have the ability to plan and structure work content to a large extent. You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing & Sales for MRO.
Today's demands
We are looking for a business minded and experienced person who easily grasps technical requirements and solutions. An ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with different people from different backgrounds is important.Experience needed:
International business development or sales management track record
A good business understanding from a varied customer base
Experience and success of negotiation work
Fluent in English
Furthermore you have a strong drive, are a quick learner and wish to work with a dynamic team moving towards further expansion and customer bases. Building relationships and network internally and externally are key success factors in this position.
