As Internal Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for all internal communication in NKT Karlskrona. You plan, set the structure and work hands on to communicate strategic messages and information in all relevant internal channels. Internal events will be planned and organized by you and you will coordinate with other departments and external companies for the execution.
You will organize internal events and write or record internal articles or videos. The tasks also include developing and implementing an internal communications plan in line with the Business Line strategy.
You will report to the Vice President, Group Communications. The Group Communications team is responsible for NKT global internal and external communication as well as social media channels and currently consists of five experienced communications professionals based in NKT's head office in Denmark.
You will be based in Karlskrona, Sweden, where you will work closely with experienced colleagues from different departments including Marketing, HR, the investment and the leadership teams based in Karlskrona and have the opportunity to learn about the high voltage power cable business.
Further key tasks are:
* Produce and write articles for our internal magazine in cooperation with managers, specialists and employees.
* Compile monthly information for all managers.
* Be responsible for the structure of our local intranet and information screens and publish relevant information in those channels.
* Support the global project from a local perspective of defining and rolling out a new intranet.
* Cooperate with HR for organizational announcements.
* Cooperate in arranging townhall meetings, webcasts for all employees in Karlskrona and videos for internal use.
* Branding of office space and give-aways for the employees.
* Be one of our internal heroes in using NKT's brand guidelines and contribute to further strengthen the brand position
* Work with Group Communication and Group Marketing, other Business Lines, departments and experts to coordinate internal communication and activities
* Creation of structures and processes to improve the effectiveness of the function and activities
The preferred candidate has the following qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree is required, advanced degree preferred, within communication, marketing or similar
* Experience working with internal communications
* At least three years of professional work experience, preferably from a large, international company.
* Experience in structuring, planning and aligning activities.
* Fluent in English and Swedish with author/journalist skills.
You also have a very good understanding and experience with carrying out information activities via both online and offline channels supported by good communication and writing skills. Further important qualifications are:
* Good understanding and experience in dealing with the different information channels as well as brand management.
* Open communication style and mindset with strong networking and collaborative attitude
* A good feeling for design/layout and texts
* Knowledge of software and tools like Photoshop, InDesign etc.
* Experience with video recording and editing is an advantage
