With this in mind we would like to find the potential scientific leaders of the future, therefore we are currently recruiting for various exciting opportunities at the AstraZeneca site in Mölndal, Sweden for newly graduated scientists with a keen interest in beginning their career in pharmaceutical research.
These opportunities are two year programmes joining us in autumn 2013 with the potential for further employment or sponsored Ph.D. study for those who perform to the required standard. During your two years with us, you will develop close working relationships with our multi-disciplinary teams contributing to the delivery of new medicines and building on the diversity and innovation within our labs. You will gain a wide variety of scientific skills across three areas of our Innovative Medicines groups (discovery research and early development) which are related to your degree discipline and your interests to assist you in your future career choice. We are looking for enthusiastic scientists with an energy and passion for making a difference to patient?s lives through innovative thinking and scientific excellence. The successful applicants will have recently completed, or will be about to complete, their BSc or MSc degree with first or upper-second class honours in a relevant life or physical science. Our scientists are from a diverse range of backgrounds including biochemistry, physiology, molecular biology, cell biology, pharmacology, computational biology, chemistry (organic, bioorganic, medicinal, synthetic, analytical, physical), biophysics, structural biology, DMPK and pharmaceutical science.
