G+D Mobile Security Sweden AB is looking for two positions as Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join the Service Delivery & Operations organization.

Job Summary
The Infrastructure Operations Engineer holds a technical position to manage day-to-day operations in our cloud/datacenters, primarily in regards to setup, configuration and operations of operating systems, virtualization layer, hardware, firewall, proxies, load balancers and various security items in our network.

Important skills for the Infrastructure Operations Engineer are sufficient technical knowledge and IT service management knowledge. You know your way around VMware and Linux servers and can install, upgrade, install, configure these with ease. Our Infrastructure Operations Engineers are versatile and if not already in place, you will gain experience on SAN:s, firewalls, network switches, hardware from your daily work.

The Infrastructure Operations Engineer is also expected to work closely with Design Architects, Service Design Specialists, Application Engineers and Second Level Support Engineers in Service Delivery Operations and will be covering day-to-day tasks as well as being involved in customer delivery projects and internal/strategic projects.

Areas of Responsibility
Involved in day-to-day operations i.e. Incident, Problem, Change Management
Be part of the on-call routines
Perform health checks and maintenance of infrastructure.
Maintain CMDB and knowledge base in accordance with processes and tools provided. Participate in internal and customer projects.
Identify and address day to day continuous improvement activities towards Service Quality Manager, Security Manager and/or supervisor for further actions, related to tools, procedures and compliance fulfilment.
Identify improvements in setup, capacity expansion etc.
Focus on simplification of operations by automation, follow defined work instructions, contribute in improving ways of working.
Provide input regarding future and continuous needs in regards to new investments to maintain existing and future services to Cloud & DC Manager.
Evaluate, improve and add applicable work instructions. Evaluation and introduction of new technologies, in collaboration with Design Architects and Service Design Specialists.
Provide technical input to Network Operations team and/or Client Service Manager in regards to incident and problem report creation.
Collaborate with Database Engineers, R&D, Design architects when support is needed in regards to database topics during projects and operations.

Qualifications and Skills
University degree in Computer Sciences, IT or related technical/engineering field
Minimum of 1-2 years of IT Stack experience in similar position working in cloud or datacenter environment
Relevant experience in Data Center operations of virtualization layer, hardware, operating systems, firewalls and monitoring
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mentality
Good understanding of complex network/infrastructure
Good understanding of compliance and information security requirements in service operations
Being an excellent team player
Drive for self-learning and improvement
Know-how/experience of automation (Ansible/Terraform)
Hands on experience with Linux (RedHat or others)
Experience with VMware
Proficient in English both written and oral


Advantageous
Telecommunications and/or Payment industry experience
Experience of working across different cultures
ITIL v3 foundation certification
Oracle database knowledge
OpenShift / Kubernetes knowledge
Windows Server knowledge
