hela Sverige The section DUX Development Center, 94740, is responsible for Digital UX development to car projects, advanced engineering and research assignments. We are organized in three groups with employees both in Gothenburg and in Copenhagen.
The group Digital User Experience Driving contains of 17 people and our mission is to do the state of the art digital user experiences within autonomous drive, assisted driving and unassisted driving. We are now looking for an industrial PhD (iPhD) to strengthen our research initiatives.
This iPhD position will study the issue of trust both from an individual perspective and from a wider social perspective. To study how trust develops when using mobility services and technologies this assignment will use design ethnography as a tool to understand human expectations and experiences. This will be used to inform the design of future technologies for trust. In the design of future technologies for trust the project will look at the future role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage in mobility services, vehicles and social systems and how humans generate trust in an AI system or in which trusted form AI might be developed and applied in the forms of app, automotive functions, interfaces, services and vehicles.
Work location is in Göteborg and Halmstad.
Main responsibilities
* Participate in Academic courses
* Write academic journal papers
* Academic conference participation
* Discussion and debates in design ethnography, design research and design anthropology field.
* Document design guidelines for trust in mobility services and technologies.
Required qualifications
* University degree minimum MSc in User Experience, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalent.
* Driver's License Class B
Meritorious qualifications
* Experience in leading or conducting research projects within Interaction design/User experience/Human Factors.
* Worked or participated in Advance Engineering projects.
* Experience developing concepts for visualization and demonstration?
* Experience in requirement setting of human-machine interaction and user experience.
Personal qualities
* Structured, accurate and to plan and summarize and present status of the work.
* Self-drive capability, responsibility and able to work independently
* Extensive experience of and ability to plan and prioritize own work.
* Very good interpersonal skills and used to working in teams
* Attention to detail and overall picture
* A great communicator and excellent collaboration skills
